NTPC stands for the National Thermal Power Corporation. It is one of the Public Sector Undertakings of Indian Government .

Eligibility criteria to join NTPC:

>>Candidate must have done bachelor of technology or engineering from a recognized university. Final year candidates can also apply for the recruitment in NTPC. So do not worry, you are eligible for recruitment process if you have done bachelor of engineering.

>>Mainly it recruits candidates from civil, mechanical, electrical and electronics engineering.

The most important criteria for getting job in NTPC is that you should be among top rankers of GATE exam.

Your rank in the Graduate Aptitude test in Engineering will decide whether you will get chance for Group discussion and personal interview or not.

For General candidates, upto 400-500 ranks, candidates are shortlisted for further recruitment process. For OBC and SC/ST, it may get a bit higher upto 700 rank.

So aim to get among top rankers of your engineering stream to get placed in NTPC.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
