sir i m a civil engineering student. i want to know the various opportunities that i, being a girl, can get in defense services.

you can write the cds exam,to get direct entry in the armed forces.
or else you can apply for jobs in military engineering services which actually recruits female candidates, all the best

indian defense service welcomes such type of girl who are interested in joining indian defense services.You can join it through following scheme: 1.SSCW(T): short service commission women(Tech),for this scheme , advertisement comes in weekly news paper named employment news,keep in touch with this news paper. In this, entry scheme you will be called for direct SSB interview,after qualifying in SSB you will be commissioned as Officer in the army. 2.SSCW(PG- post graduate):for this scheme , advertisement also comes in weekly news paper named employment news,keep in touch with this news paper .In this entry scheme, after passing MTech you will be called for direct SSB interview,after qualifying in SSB you will be commissioned as Officer in the army. I have done MA History and interested to qualify in CDS Exam. When this enterance exam is going to be held in this yr and whether I am eligible for this?

I am pursuing my post graduation in environment management, in my graduation my subjects were microbiology,chemistry and botany ,wish to know the scope of my subject in defence services or a way to get entry in defence services. It will be very nice of urs to provide me with ur guidance.
