yes ,you are eligible for stipend depending on the seats available for it.

yes you can apply for the phd registration but you can"t get the stipend for the same.

Dear friend,
You are eligible for phd,but you have to sit for SET or NET exem...
Stipend is depend on your university and number of seat...

sir I have done my master degree at UK at University of Sussex and have secured 44% can i do Phd with this mark in any university in India. please guide me.

Hi,

You first have to check with the concerned Univ's eligibility section if they recognise the distance degree. Every Univ recognises certain distance degrees eg IGNOU is valid in all Univ. in India.

Sorry to hear your score bro, but unfortunately you have to be atleast 50% to e eligible in some Univ but most will take atleast 55% as per UGC guidelines.
Bro I sucked at 54.55%in masters I feel your pain.

Hi

Sorry but you will probably not get any fellowship in India at Univ level unless your guide has a UGC/DST-FIST project to fund the work.
You will have try for autonomous institutes for fellowships apart from that no luck.

i want to know that i am doing m.phil from kashmir university. I want to do ph.d from J.M.I side by side.Is possible?

I am associate professor in english in a govt college. I have done m.phil also. For doing phd is entrance test and six months course work mandatory for me.
