Possibility to study MA from IGNOU if passed BCA four years ago from IGNOU? Is this stream suitable for me?


Sir, I have passed BCA from IGNOU in 2012 and now I want to study MA from IGNOU. Is it possible to study MA through IGNOU? Is this stream suitable for me?

Yes, you can study MA through IGNOU. But the question is why do you want to do MA. After completion of BCA you can pursue other good courses like MCA, M.SC, MBA etc. These courses will help you to get a good job. So in my opinion you should pursue one of these courses. Thanks

You will be eligible to do MA from IGNOU even after passing BCA four years ago as there is no age restriction to get enrolled for this course.

The eligibility required to get admission for MA from IGNOU are as under:-

-The candidate should have completed graduation in any discipline or a higher degree from a recognized university .

-There is no age bar to apply for this course.

You have passed BCA course from IGNOU so you are not eligible for M.A course in IGNOU.

But you can apply for MCA curse from IGNOU.
