I'm a bio. Student but not interested in becoming a doctor. a job in military for a female without mathematics. Is it possible to get a job in Military being a female candidate? What are the requirements which I would need to fulfill? Can someone guide me on this soon?

Yes. you can apply for CDS. Combined Defence Services-I & II exams are being conducted by UPSE yearly twice. Women can apply for OTA (officers trg. acdmy). Exam is on English and General Studies.

# There is limited positions and limited opportunities for females in order to join Indian Army.

# A female candidate can join Indian Army only after completion of graduation in any discipline from any recognised university.

# After graduation in any discipline, female candidate has to apply for Combined Defence Service (CDS) Examination.

# Through CDS Examination one can join followings:

* Officer Training Academy (OTA)
* Indian Military Academy (IMA)
* Air Force Academy (AFA)
* Naval Academy (NA)

# But female candidates are only allowed to join Officer Training Academy (OTA). Females are strictly prohibited for other entries.

# Age limit required:

* 19-25 years for Officer Training Academy (OTA)
* 19-24 years for Indian Military Academy (IMA)
*19-23 years for Air Force Academy (AFA)
* 19-22 years for Naval Academy (NA)

# Female candidates must be Indian, unmarried and physically fit.
