--exam details below..

]--The AFCAT is carried out every year and is controlled by the IAF. In 2011 the exam is held on March 27 in designated test centers.
--The AFCAT is a 2 hour long exam which will have objective type question. --Each of these objective questions will be provided with 4 options as answers.
--The candidate must select the correct one from the given option.
--The Syllabus of AFCAT exam will test students in
the areas like Reasoning, Numerical and verbal
ability. Other than these students will also be
tested in General awareness and Knowledge.
--The number of question will be 100 or more.
--For preparing for the AFCAT candidates must prepare
by solving previous years question papers and also
must refer to books and guides indented for this
exam. Students can also refer to other competitive exams like Bank PO, LIC, NICL etc.

Intro:-
This is the only Exam which is Common for recruitment in Flying Branch, Technical Branch and ground Duty Officer.

Exam Pattern:-

You need to be 60% aggregate in all your Years in graduation.(More Details See the Notificaiton)

Syllabus:-

Syllabus of the Exam Consists of Verbal ability,Reasoning, General Awareness , Numerical ability & General Aptitude.
2 hrs will be the Duration having Multiple types of Answers.

Indian Air force invited applications for Air force Common Admission Test(AFCAT) from eligible Indian female and Male candidates for following courses starting in January 2012 / July 2012 for grant of Short Service Commission(SSC) wing Branch and Regular short services commission in Technical and Ground Duty Branches for Male /Female candidates.

Eligible candidates who are fulfilling of above eligibility criteria , they can download prescribed format from official websites of air force www.careerairforce.nic.in and filled it Bold capital letters properly and sent it address by registered post f centre for written examination of Air force Common Admission Test(AFCAT) which has been published at air force websites advertisement . Candidates must be written envelope contains application format “APPLICATION FOR AIRFORCE COMMON ADMISSION TEST: 27 MARCH 2011.

AFCAT is Air Force Common Admission Test.

The application form for the test can be downloaded from the official website of the career in air force.

but still I have downloaded both the forms(male and female forms) and attached it here, fill it up in bold capital letters properly and send it to the address.

now where to send the application form depends on the centers for which you are applying.

the details of the centers and their corresponding address in also attached below.

You should write the envelope contains application format "APPLICATION FOR AIRFORCE COMMON ADMISSION TEST: 27 MARCH 2011"

please tell me medical qualification??
if a person eyesight is weak up to 3.5 then can he/she eligible for ground duty or lasic is eligible or not?
