You can join Indian Army after bachelor's degree on through Combined Defence Services examination.

The eligibility criteria for CDS exam for Army is:

1. Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

2. The age limit for candidates is 19-24 years.

You can clear written test and Service Selection Board of CDS to become eligible for CDS exam.

To join in Indian Army in 2018 after completion of your degree course, you have to appear in UPSC CDS examination. Eligibility criteria required to apply for UPSC CDS examination is mentioned below :-

=> You should be a citizen of India.

=> You should have passed Bachelor's degree course in any discipline from a recognised university.

=> You should be in the age range of 19-24 years.

=> You should be an unmarried male candidate.

=> You should be physically fit as per physical standards mentioned in the UPSC CDS examination notification.

You have to appear and qualify the UPSC CDS examination, attend personal interview and medical test to get selected in Indian Army.

Procedure to join Indian Army in 2018 after completion of your degree is mentioned below :-

--> You have to apply for UPSC CDS through online at https://upsconline.nic.in once, the UPSC CDS examination notification is released.

Eligibility criteria that you need to satisfy for joining in Indian Army through CDS examination is mentioned below :-

--> Nationality :- Indian
--> Educational Qualification :- 12th standard
--> Age Limit :- 19 to 24 years
--> Gender :- Male
--> Martial Status :- Unmarried
--> You should be physically as well as mentally healthy.

Procedure to join Indian Army in 2018 after completion of degree :-

After graduation you can apply for CDS exam.

UPSC conducted CDS examination twice a year.

CDS stands for Combined Defence Services.

Eligibility Criteria for CDS exam:-

Age is between 19 to 22 years for Navy.

Age is between 19 to 23 years for Air Force .

Age is between 19 to 24 years for army.

Candidate must be a citizen of India .

candidate must be unmarried candidate

Candidate must be male/ female candidate.

Physically ability .

Selection Process:-

Written Exam

Interview

The best available option to join Indian Army after degree is to appear and qualify in CDS entrance examination.

CDS examination is conducted by UPSC twice in a year. The eligibility to appear in examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline( for Army and OTA ).

So, you can appear in examination. The examination is conducted in two stages Written and SSB. The candidates after qualifying in both stages will become eligible for final selection.

The other option to join Indian Army is through the recruitment rallies conducted by Indian Army. The candidates have to qualify in physical, written and interview for selection.

As you have completed your degree, so you can directly join Indian Army through CDS Exam.
