Re: Procedure of selection of IBPS clerk after qualifying exam?
No friend , you are not eligible with 44% in your 12th for IBPS .
IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection . Min Qualification required are : In 10th standard you need to have a percentage of 45% for general categorized students ans 40% for SC,ST,BC . And in Inter you need to have a min of 50% as aggregate for appearing IBPS Examinations . So as per this you are not eligible for this . You have a chance after your Graduation . i.e If you are really interested in Banking Sector then join in a Graduate Degree Programme in any discipline which is of 3yrs duration course . You need to maintain an aggregate of 55% in this programme . Then you are eligible for IBPS Clerical Examinations and also for IBPS PO Examinations too . Good Luck !! |

Re: Procedure of selection of IBPS clerk after qualifying exam?
I have qualified the IBPS 2011 Clerk examinations with a score of 164/250.
The qualifying score in IBPS is 120, but I have heard that banks set up their own qualifying score when they place ads for vacancies. Only those candidates who satisfy the score mentioned by the banks are eligible for the interview. Is this true? If yes, then what is the approximate score that they can mention? Will I be eligible for the interview? (I have scored above 60% in my SSC, HSC and Graduation) |

The qualifying score is 120, however I have heard that banks set up their own qualifying score when they place ads for interview. Is this true? If yes, then what is the approximate score that they are likely to set? Have I done well enough to get a chance for the interview? This job means everything to me, all my hopes lie on this job, kindly reply to my queries. (I have scored above 60% in SSC, HSC and Graduation) |
