In order to get admission into the Bachelor of Education, offered by Banaras Hindu University, you will have to qualify All India Entrance Test conducted by the University itself.

To be considered eligible for the All India Entrance Test, you must hold a bachelors degree of a recognized university and must have qualified it with a minimum of 50% marks.
This eligibility criteria, i.e. 50% in the qualifying exam is also applicable to candidates holding masters degree.

The notification regarding the test is usually published on the official website of Banaras Hindu University. For further information, refer to:

Educational qualification :

• You should have a Bachelor degree in any any discipline from recognized university.
• Your Bachelor degree course should be of at least 3 years.
• Candidates who have Post Graduation degree in any discipline will also be able to take admission in this course.
  

Marks required :

• General Category candidates should have a minimum of 55% marks in Bachelor degree course.
• SC/ST Category candidates should have a minimum of 45% marks in Bachelor degree course.

• Total Duration of course - 1 year.
• Course Type - Regular.

After passing BHU-BEd entrance exam colleges in which you will able to take admission that are recognized by BHU Varanasi :

About Entrance Test :

• You will have to appear in Entrance test.Exam Paper will consists of two parts.Questions will be English and Hindi.
• Part A - Consists of Subject selected by the candidates/in which you have completed your Bachelor degree course.
• Part B - Consists questions from General sections and it is to be given by all candidates.

Entrance Test Syllabus :


A)

• Subject I - 40 Marks.
• Subject II - 40 Marks.

B)

• Reasoning and general Awareness - 50 Marks.
• Language Comprehension - 20 Marks.

sir,i am a student of B.A 2nd year English hons.I did give entrance test in your university for taking admission in B.A,i even got selected,but due to some issues,i was not able to give the final interview,but now i desperately want to take admission at BHU for my B.ED once i complete my graduation,what should i do to get admission under your university,when are the forms available for B.ed courses?
