Qualification required for Assistant Loco Pilot post?


I qualified ITI Computer Operator and Programming Assistant(COPA) NCVT Certified. Can I apply for the Assistant Loco Pilot post?

The required qualification to appear in Assistant Loco Pilot examination is that candidate must have passed diploma/ITI/Polytechnic from a recognised institute.

The age limit is 18-30 years. Candidates after qualifying in entrance test ( written, physical and interview ) test for final selection.

No, you are not eligible to apply for Assistant Loco Pilot examination after completion of your ITI in Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) course. Only candidates who have passed ITI or Diploma in Electronics/ Electrical/ Automobile/ Mechanical Engineering course from a recognised university are eligible to apply for Assistant Loco Pilot examination. So, being a ITI holder in COPA, you are not eligible to apply for Assistant Loco Pilot examination.
