Rank after 60-62 marks in GATE? Cut-off for IISC and IIT, Chennai?
I Have writeen Gate2011(ME).Ihave found my score around 60-62,what would be my AIR and Also tell me what would be expected cutoff for iisc and iit madras

Cut off depends on the top mark.......But you have got really a very good score
So you can get in IISC or even IIT's |

you will get an very good rank ,most probably below 100,that's an very good performance, the cut of score changes from various field to fields that you choose it depends on the demand of the course at the time of admission, you can be rest assured to get an admission in iit madras based on your score, but not necessarily the subject you want to take, as for as iisc Bangalore is concerned,it conducts its own test for some branches and takes only interview for some branches , you can get the details at the following website http://admissions.iisc.ernet.in i am also attaching some additional information about iisc |

first of all congrats 60 to 62 is very good score in GATE iam very sure that your percentile will be around 99 to 100 . iam attaching you the list of institute including IITs with their cutoff .i hope it will help you best |

If I apply for MSc(Engg)/PhD for EC , EE and CEDT as my preferences what are my chances of getting a call ??? Please reply |

I am getting around 50-52 marks in ECE in the general category .. If I apply for MSc(Engg)/PhD in IISc with EC , EE and CEDT as my departmental preferences , what are the chances that i will be getting a call ?? Moreover please tell me that what are my chances of getting a call from IIT Madras for MS admissions ? Also tell me that at this marks would i be able to get MTech in IITG or NIT Trichy ??? Any chance of getting a MS Call at this marks from IITD and IITB ??? Please reply |

I am Arnab B.Tech final year student in ECE ranked in Gate 1627 ,GATE SCORE: 624, GATE MARKS: 52.33, PERCENTILE : 98.89(aprox) Can get chance in Any IIT. Can I get chance in any IIT in Solid State Semi Conductor Device.
