![]() ![]() IAS exam is conducted by UPSC in once time in year through Civil Service Exam.So you must attend in CSAT exam. Those candidate have completed graduation degree or final year of graduation degree from recognized board are applicable for IAS exam. But your age should be in between 22 to 30 years old.Age relaxation is provide only for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule. The maximum attempts for SC/ST candidate is Unlimited. for OBC candidate it is 7 times and for general candidate it is 5 times. Eligibility Criteria For IAS (i) Age limits : 21-30 years as on 1.7.2012. (Upper age limit relaxable for SCs/STs, OBCs and certain other categories as specified in Para 3(ii) of Notice). (ii) Educational Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree of a recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physcs, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Enginerring or an equivalent qualification (Para 3(iii) of Notice). Indian administrative services(IAS) exam is conducted by UPSC every year for recruitment to civil services.
The eligibility for appearing in this exam is- You should be graduate in any discipline. You should be an Indian citizen. Your age should be between 21-30 years of age. There is 3 years relaxation for OBC candidates in upper age limit. There is 5 years relaxation for ST/SC candidates. To become a IAS officer,you should apply for Civil Service exam and should clear the exam with good score.
Civil Service exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission every year once to take qualified students into different service posts in government sector. To eligible for civil service exam,then you should have completed or appearing for final exam of graduation degree with any stream from a recognized university and your age should be between 21 to 30 years.
