Required Qualification to give IAS Entrance Exam?
i am 12 standard student in non medical ,i want to know what qualification r needed to give an ias entrance exam

Qualification For IAS entrance exam are:::
>>> Bachelor’s degree of a recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physcs, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Enginerring or an equivalent qualification . No. of attempts : Four (Seven attemps of OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs) Age limits : 21-30 years. (Upper age limit relaxable for SCs/STs, OBCs and certain other categories) All the best. |

You will need to clear graduation to apply for Indian Administrative Exam. There is no issue of percentage as well the stream. It does not matter if you are non-medical student or arts or commerce student.
You just need to complete graduation in any stream to be eligible for IAS entrance exam. Upon clearing the graduation, apply for UPSC Civil Service Examination. The admission process begins at the end of year in November or December. The role of IAS officer is related to implementing government policies. Senior IAS officers also help the government draft the policies. Below check the eligibility criteria in detail. Eligibility 1. You should be of Indian origin. 2. A graduation degree in any discipline. 3. There is no percentage criteria. Age Limit 1. The age limit is 21 to 30 years as on August 1 of examination year. 2. There is 3 years relaxation for Other Backward Classes. 3. Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe candidates are given 5 years relaxation. Exam Pattern for IAS 1. Preliminary Exam There are two papers in preliminary exams which is qualifying exam to appear for Mains. One paper is on General studies while second paper is on optional subject. 2. If you are interested in IAS first you can crack the Civil Examination Civil Examination conducted by conducted by Union Public Service Commission in yearly ones. For CIVIL Examination some eligibility criteria are there i.e. Educational Qualification Candidates must have a bachelor of degree in any stream from any recognized university Final year students also eligible for this examination there is no percentage required for this examination Age Limit Candidates age should between 21 years to 30 years for general candidates age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PHC as under Candidates should be a citizen of India Selection Procedure Preliminary Examination Mains Examination Interview Test No.of Attempts 4 attempts for General candidates 7 attempts for OBC candidates no limit for SC/ST candidates all the best....... IPS and IAS exams:- Educational qualification:- **The Candidate should be citizen of India. **The candidate should be complete any graduation from a recognised university. **Final year appearing candidates can also be eligible. The person should be completed any degree can be eligible to appear in IAS exam. And he should be citizen of India.
Educational Qualifications: The candidate must hold a degree of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University Under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification. Age Limit: 21 years must be completed on 1st August of the year, which a candidate is appearing. Maximum 30 for general category, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs. Ex-servicemen will get 5 more years exemption from the prescribed age limit. (The date of birth accepted by the Commission is that entered in the Matriculation or Secondary School Leaving Certificate or in a certificate recognised by an Indian University as equivalent to Matriculation or in an extract from a Register of Matriculates maintained by a University, which extract must be certified by the proper authority of the University or in the Higher Secondary or an equivalent examination certificate). Number of Attempts: Four for open, seven for OBC and no limit for SC and SC candidates. |
