i am 12 standard student in non medical ,i want to know what qualification r needed to give an ias entrance exam

Qualification For IAS entrance exam are:::

>>> Bachelor’s degree of a recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physcs, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Enginerring or an equivalent qualification .

No. of attempts :
Four (Seven attemps of OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs)

Age limits :
21-30 years. (Upper age limit relaxable for SCs/STs, OBCs and certain other categories)

INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE(IAS)

If you want to become a IAS officer, you must have to clear a examination , commonly known as civil service examination,..
This civil service examination is conducted by the UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION every year.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS-

The Educational Qualification needed for appear in this examination is a graduation degree , whatever may be the stream is , but from a recognized college.
So, If you want to apply for the IAS examination , you must have to complete your graduation,. There is not any kind of limitation of minimum percentage requirement.you just have to clear your graduation.

The Age Limit--

21-30 years for the GENERAL candidates,
21-33 years for the OBC candidates,
21-35 years for the SC\ST candidates.,,



This civil service examination has three stages to be clear to become a IAS officer,.-

1. CSAT (CIVIL SERVICE APTITUDE TEST),
2. MAINS
3. INTERVIEW (PERSONNEL EVALUATION)

You will need to clear graduation to apply for Indian Administrative Exam. There is no issue of percentage as well the stream. It does not matter if you are non-medical student or arts or commerce student.


You just need to complete graduation in any stream to be eligible for IAS entrance exam. Upon clearing the graduation, apply for UPSC Civil Service Examination. The admission process begins at the end of year in November or December.


The role of IAS officer is related to implementing government policies. Senior IAS officers also help the government draft the policies. Below check the eligibility criteria in detail.



Eligibility

1. You should be of Indian origin.

2. A graduation degree in any discipline.

3. There is no percentage criteria.



Age Limit

1. The age limit is 21 to 30 years as on August 1 of examination year.

2. There is 3 years relaxation for Other Backward Classes.

3. Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe candidates are given 5 years relaxation.




Exam Pattern for IAS

1. Preliminary Exam

There are two papers in preliminary exams which is qualifying exam to appear for Mains. One paper is on General studies while second paper is on optional subject.


2. Main Exam

There are 9 papers in the main exams. Below is the list of papers.

IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service

1. A candidate must have completed their graduation Degree in any Discipline with atlest 55% from recognise universities.
   
2. Final year students are also applicable.

Age Limit:

1. General category student:- 21-30 years.
2. OBC relaxation in upper age +3 years.
3. SC/ST relaxation in upper age +5 years.

Required Qualification For IAS

The recruitment for the Indian Administrative Officers is done through the Civil Service Exams which is conducted every year by the UPSC..

A candidate is eligible to appear in the Civil Service Exams if :-

>> He/she must have completed his/her graduation from a recognized college in any stream..

>> The candidate must also be within the age limit of 21-30 years..21-33 years if OBC and 21-35 years if SC/ST..

>> The maximum number of attempts permitted for the general candidates is 4, for OBC its 7 and there is no limit for the SC/ST candidates..

The exam will be conducted in 2 stages :-

Prelims or CSAT which will consist of 2 objective papers..

Mains which will consist of 9 subjective papers..

After clearing the Mains you will be called for the final interview..

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), a constitutional body within India conducts Civil Services Exam every year on an all-India basis for recruiting numerous candidates in different civil services of the Union such as IAS, IFS, IPS and others. These examinations also help UPSC in recruiting people in sectors such as Medical, Forestry, Civil Services and Engineering. There are 42 important centers across India where UPSC conducts these exams.

Dear Friend,

You can surely apply for UPSC civil services examination if you are an Indian Citizen.

Your age should be between 21 years to 30 years and you should be graduate to be eligible for this examination.

So, being a MBBS, you are of course eligible.

Relaxations are given in the upper age limit for reserved categories as per the rules.

Educational Qualifications:

The candidate must hold a degree of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University Under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification.

Age Limit:

21 years must be completed on 1st August of the year, which a candidate is appearing. Maximum 30 for general category, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs. Ex-servicemen will get 5 more years exemption from the prescribed age limit.

(The date of birth accepted by the Commission is that entered in the Matriculation or Secondary School Leaving Certificate or in a certificate recognised by an Indian University as equivalent to Matriculation or in an extract from a Register of Matriculates maintained by a University, which extract must be certified by the proper authority of the University or in the Higher Secondary or an equivalent examination certificate).

Number of Attempts:

Four for open, seven for OBC and no limit for SC and SC candidates.
