what are the requirments for admission in bca after +2 science ? i am going to join bca course

The eligibility criteria for BCA course-

*One must have maths or stats in 12th.
*One must have complete the 12th..

Now, different colleges have different marks criteria..
Some are conducts entrance test for taking admission in BCA..Depending on the score in that exam they select students...
So, you just go to the college where you wants to take admission for BCA course, and find out the admission procedure in that college..

actually there are some colleges or university which offer entrance exams for getting into bachelor programs which include GGSIPU CET,AIMA UGAT,SYMBIOSIS entrance,you can write any one or all the three entrance exam and with the score you can get into any one of the best university or college

BCA stands for Bachaler in Computer Application.There is good scope in BCA.There are various college who offers BCA course.The diuartion of this course
is 3 years.
Requirement for BCA course are as follows :-
1.A candaidate should be 12 th pass in any discipine from recognized school or college.
2.A candidate should have atleast 50% in 12th .If candidate wants to get admission in any good college then a candidate should have 50%
in 12th.
3.If candidate have less then 50%then there is no problem still you can get.
4.A candidate should have basic knowledge in computer otherwise it a candidate might be face difficulty in understaning.

Can BCA be done without maths.....???

There are various college who offers BCA course after the 12th examination and all of which are 3 years of duration . You can also do a combine course of BCA and MCA which will bw of 5 years.

Criteria for getting admission in BCA after 12th is as follows :

> You should pass your 10th and 12th with minimum 55% aggregate.
> You must have maths in your 12th.
> You should not have an backlog in any of your 12th subjects.

I have 12th with commerce with 48.6% and B. Com. With 50%. Can i get admission in BCA.

Yes,you can join BCA after the completion of 12th

BCA course stands for the Bachelor in Computer Applications. It is basically a graduation course, and so if you wish to take up BCA after 12th, then you must fulfill the following Eligibility Requirements for getting admission in BCA course :-


1. You should be a minimum 12th pass from a recognized school or state board of India.

2. Mathematics is compulsory to have studied in class 12th as a subject as BCA has to deal with Discreet maths in it.

3. No age or attempt bar for this course.

4. You should not have any pending subject in your 12th board. You should be clear pass in all the subjects.


So if you fulfill the following Eligibility conditions, then surely you are eligible to apply for the BCA course.


Its a 3 years full/part time correspondence course which can be taken up by any streamed student provided he fulfills the above criteria's.


It would basically deal with the history and development of computers over the year, how they have evolved, the programming languages like C, C++ and Java.

If you have interest in Computers, you should surely go for this. Also remember BCA + MCA = B.Tech in CS (approx).

BCA, full form Bachelor of Computer Application, is a 3-year UG course that imparts knowledge on the basics of computer application and software development.

BCA Eligibility Criteria

The basic BCA eligibility criteria for the BCA admission process is mentioned below:

The student must have an aggregate of 50% or above in Class 12 in any stream (Arts, Science, Commerce) with English and Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
