hello i am b.tech in computer science student i had secured 58% in 10th and 48% in 12th and 6.0 cgpa in btech so what type of software companies i should try.

All companies asks candidates to attend with cutoff just based on the B.Tech marks scored.
So you can attend all as your CGPA is 6/10.
It is enough for almost all companies to attend.

all companies need only CGPA 6.so it is not impossible to sit for software job.

I think you will have difficulty applying in MNC, as they have criteria of 60% in 10 & 12 as well,
so try getting into companies which don't consider 10 & 12th criteria.
Work there for 1 or 2 years and then you can get an entry into big software companies or try doing some additional courses which will fetch you job much more easily.

almost all software companies require a minimum of 60% throughout your academic career.

but as per the performance of yours in 10th,12, and in b.tech you will not be eligible for the software companies.

DEFENCE

RAILWAY

UPSC

The eligiblity criteria of most software companies is usually career 60 % ..but in many occasions in walk in interviews...the companies relax to a certain limit...you need to know about the coresspom=nding compny's profile..to which you will walk into...to get details about various software companies' profile...please follow the link..

These days there are lots of IT companies providing a better opportunities.
But as you have mentioned about your percentage which is relatively low especially in 10th &12th.Most of the MNC software companies set an eligibility of 60% through the academic career.So it might be a difficulty for you to apply in MNCs but do not lose hope as there are still non-MNC companies where you can apply as your percentage in Engineering is good.Once you gain experience,develop skills you may get a chance in MNCs too.
Besides that you can apply in the govt. sector.
Never lose hope.You will have lots of opportunities.

see, as your Btech marks are not good but marks in 10th and 12th are good.

so you will face in the problem during campusing time.


as maximum companies want 60% marks, throughout of career.

so you can't appear those interviews.

that means you can't join in the big MNC company before experience.

Most of the company require 60% in 10 & 12 that is difficult for you from that prospect you have decent score in Btech.
but the problem is of the schooling.
but the option are always open.
try in some small scale company and get couple of year experience and then try for mnc ..

you can apply for all most all companies except infosys and wipro because these need at least 65% percent in class 12th. try in every company but you wil face problem due to your less marks in 10 and 12th . and also your b.tech. lets hope for the best to happen

Since you did not have at least 60% marks in 10th and 12th board exam, it will be difficult for you to get an interview call from big software companies like TCS, Infosys, IBM, WIPRO etc. You should try in some smaller companies like HCL. They require only CGPA 6.0 in B. Tech. After you have gained some experience, you can apply in big companies.

These companies are mainly mid level or small scale companies but opportunity to grow in such companies is far more higher than big companies.

sorry to say but you will face some problem in placement as your marks are too less

many company demand atleast 60% marks through out your academic career i.e atleast 60% marks in your 10th, 12th and graduation.
You wont be able to appear for that companies

Few company just take candidates based on your graduation marks.
You just have 60% marks in your graduation, its low but still you are eligible.

try to apply for as many company as possible, There is possibility that you will have to start with low pay and low company but eventually you will pick up
