M in 10th standard and I want 2 take the arts stream but my parents are forcing me 2 take the science stream..........please help.

Its not that one stream is good and having more job opportunities than other stream between Arts and Science. Each stream is having its own career scope and job opportunities.

You did not mention the percentage of marks you secured in 10th and the subjects in which you are interested and secured high marks in 10th standard.

I will suggest you to choose the stream which ever you are interested and the one where you have good knowledge previously.

Because if you already have a good command on a particular subject, with that you can learn the subjects easily in depth which makes you to become expertise in that particular area.

Many of the candidates feels that Science is more difficult than Arts and will choose Arts stream. But in reality it is not true. If you have a profound interest in Science stream, choose the same.

Science is the Good stream for which it has good opportunity for
career option like after science you go for
Engineering
Medical
General science
Biotechnology
etc.
many option are there for Science
but if you do arts then there is less option for
your career
like:-
after that you go for only general graduate after graduation then you apply for
competative exam those all people give that
for this stream has no specialisation.

So science is good than arts.

hi....both the arts and science branches have there own advantages and diadvantages and there is nothing to say that one is better than the other in an general terms ,but if it comes to earning money and better employment opportunities then the science stream is far far better than the arts stream because the unemployment rate is generally high in the arts stream,
also the career opportunities for an science students are just huge because of many fielda that they can get jobs in ,other than the traditional fields of the medicine and the engineering a science student can also become an commercial airline pilot ,physiotherapist ,he can also become an research scientist in the pharmaceutical field and also many more but these opportunities are not available for an arts student also the salary of an engineering students are very high when compared to the arts students and thats very reason why more people are prefering science branches than the arts branches these days

This is impossible to say that which stream is better it should be totally depend on your interest and hard work. If you can do hard work and study then science stream is better. As you are very well aware that this is the era of science and technology so science has more priority then the art stream.

In science side you have two branch one is medical and another is non-medical. So according to your interest you should go for that side.

if you are intersted in maths and science then you choose science stream for your future....this is best for you....but if you are not intersted then you should not take the particular branch.

there are many scope available in science with maths...
so, choose your stream as per your skill..

First of all this is the best time for you o shape your career
And please clear your mind why you want to go for ARTS STREAM/SCIENCE STREAM

Interest in a stream is much more important for a candidiate
so First clear your career goals and just search out for career after both ARTS/SCIENCE STREAM

aND then develop your interest that which type of job /WORK you would like to do after your 12th .

So this is not like what your parents want or you want it is just like in which type of work in future you want to go .

b.fahsion and all other that you can do by taking arts stream

First thing i want to say to you is no stream is better than other. It depends on your interest and you marks percentage. If you have good percentage you will be allowed to do science and little less means you will be allowed to do commerce group only.

Better plan your future and plan what you must be in future. And you can go in that way which will make your future shine. Through that plan you can know what stream you can take.

It wholly depends on your Interest. There is nothing in the stream like one stream has more job opportunities or one is better than other.
So this is your choice both stream are better choose that in which you can do hard work.

see if your choice is to take arts stream then tell your parents about this and choose interest stream because science is that stream in which success would not achieve when you have not interested in...........so be please talk to your parents about this matter and take the arts stream........dont go against your mind and interest............

As far as career prospect is concerned, science definitely will provide you more options but that doesn't mean that Arts stream is not worth pursuing. If you have got interest in the subjects, you can definitely do well in this field too.
To be successful, you should listen to your heart and if it insist you to take arts, do that. The most important thing about arts stream is that you must be highly qualified to make a great career in this field. So, if you choose Arts, you must go for higher studies and try to earn doctorate in the field of your interest.
You should not select science stream if you are not interested, otherwise you will face many difficulties in higher studies and it's actually not worth pursuing for someone having a deep interest in arts stream.

see science future is best u can go any field that not matter
like after complete 12th with science u can do b.tech,b.sc.............

see arts not not a bad field if u study more then u can do BBa,BCA,LLB..............like many field

It is totally depend upon personal interest... In which field you have more interest..
You should go for that field...
See, if you have interest in science field, and you want to go for engineering or medical or any technical field in future then you should go for Science..
If you have interest in mass communication, B.A etc... then you can go for ARTS field..
It is true that science field has more future prospect than any other field..
So,Now it is upon you in which field you have more interest...
Go for that field....

There is no point in arguing that which branch is better, science or arts, science is a much better stream than arts for class 12th board in every respect, in the sense of career aspects and also value aspects.

Science provides you a vast area of opportunities to carry on in future. It will fetch more and better job opportunities.

But the thing is that it is up to your interest and your ability. You would have known it by your 10th board results. If you don't fancy science than you have to convince your parents that you may not be able to take it further because it's hard and you may not be able to cope up with it without having interest in science subjects.

its totally depend on you,what you want from yourself. otherwise science is the better option, but you should choose your interest.

both streams have their own scope and jobs possibilities.it is totally depends upon you. take only that stream in which you are interested. if you are good in maths & science studies then sciences stream is good for you, otherwise arts or commerce stream is better one for you.

It's not like that Arts is better or Science is better..

Actually these are not comparable at all..

what stream is selected it's all depend upon candidate , dream, interest, and his career choice...

It can not be judged the way you asked,both the streams are good and have there excellency at their field,with both the streams there are lots of opportunities and careers options.

It entirely depends on you which stream you want to choose,but you should have some goal or desire that what do you want to become,depending on that choose your stream.

What I can say you that if you choose Science then you better choose Physics,Mathematics,Chemistry and Biology as your subjects,if you choose Arts then you can choose subjects according to your desire but do not choose Geography without Mathematics.

I am in 10th standard and i want go for science stream but my parents are forcing me to take arts stream. Actually,my maths exam was bad in my 10th board exam..so they think that the same thing might happen in my 12th board exam.Now i'm totally confused..please help me out.

just do what u like never go into parents intrest just take thier guide.coz parents have finished studying nd nw its ur turn to study so select what u r intrested in bcoz u wil find it more easier nd simple.i jst request ur parents not to force ur child to do so.science ics jst a fashion and trend now a days there r many streams in arts section.she can go for law ,media ,administation,lectuering,journalism,teacher.there r more than 100 coureses offered.parents have thier own intrest plz parents jst think abt ur childs intrest try to understand her ideas her point of view.if u force her to take science thn if she finds it difficult to study thn she may loose hope nd get ultimate stress.i advice u to allow her to take whatever she wants to.plz dont force her.

I want 2 go for science stream but i got only 46 mark in my H.S.L.C exam

i passded my 12th recently n i got 60% marks with commerce stream n i want take admission in regular collg but but that's not possible so wht can i do n i m changing my strean commerce to art .

Actually, It depends on ones interest. According to your interest and goal you should choose your stream. Whether it is science, commerce or arts every stream has its own value. You can make your future bright in any one of them but it needs hard work and interest. First of all find your interest and take decision.
