-->To Become An IAS, You Dont Need To Choose Any Specific Stream.
-->Just Graduation Is The Minimum Eligiblity To Become An IAS Officer. -->If You Are Graduate, And Your Age Should Between 21 To 30 Years, then You Can Apply For IAS Examination. -->So, Please Choose Stream According To Your own interest, Because Any Graduate Candidate Are Eligible To Apply For IAS Examination. --->So, If You Are Intrested, then Please Well For UPSC IAS Examination. |

I want to choose arts as my subject but I feel as it doesn't needs much hard work. I will lose my habit of hard work and become dull.Else I am interested in arts but confused in this way.Then should I take medical only to become hard working student?

Civil Service Examination. Nice to see your interest in Civil Services examination. Civil services examination which is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) once in every year. Eligibility Criteria for the Civil Services examination. Academic Qualification - --> Graduation Degree in any stream from a recognize University. Final year graduation candidates can also appear in the IAS examination. Age Limit - --> The age must be between 21 to 30 years at the time of examination. The upper age relaxation is also applicable for the reserve category. These are the basic eligibility criteria for the IAS examination. So, As per above mention eligibility criteria for the Civil Services Examination the minimum education qualification is pass graduation so first complete the graduation degree in any stream with a good marks and then think about the civil services examination.
