Re: Which stream should I choose in 11th to study Journalism in graduation?
You can take any stream from Science, Arts or Commerce. But according to my knowledge, you have to take Science stream in 11th or 12th standard. Because science stream has wide range of opportunities. And in the Journalism sector, you have to also deal with marketing and advertisements, so science stream will help you in figuring out all the topics and solutions.

In order to pursue Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, you are required to meet the basic educational qualification that is required.
There are several Bachelor's Degree courses like BA in Journalism, Bachelor of Journalism..etc., >> As far as my best knowledge is concerned, candidates who have completed their 12th class in any discipline are eligible. >> Preferably, candidates from Science stream in 12th class with minimum 50% marks are eligible to pursue this Bachelor's in Journalism course. You must study 12th class with English as a subject in order to be eligible. >> Hence, I would suggest you to go ahead with PCM (Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry) subjects to choose career in Journalism. >> Most of the colleges conduct their own entrance examination for getting admission into this course. Some of the colleges offering Bachelor of Arts in Journalism are, Goa University, SRM university, Christ University, Madras Christian College..etc., |
