Re: Which stream should I choose for Graduation to become an IPS Officer in the future?
IPS stands for Indian Police Service. This examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission every. For this examination candidate must have passed graduation in any stream from a recognized university. The minimum age of candidate must be 21 years and not be greater than 30 years. As per my knowledge, three years age relaxation is given to OBC category and five years to SC category candidate. Also candidate must be citizen of India.
The required number of attempt for IPS examination are given below. ** General: 4 attempts. ** OBC: 7 attempts. ** SC/ST: No limit. |

You can choose any stream for graduation as UPSC does not specify any particular subjects. You have to be graduated to get recognized for further process. But it is quite better to choose commerce or arts stream to learn about economics or history geography for cracking exams.
