You have not mentioned what is your level of qualification. You can join for the graduation course in Law to get in to that field. But, it is not mandatory to study LLB course to appear for Civil service examination. A graduation in any discipline is the main criterion for applying for the IAS exam. It is important to secure graduation from a recognized institute or university.
