You did not mention your 10th marks also your interested lines so that you can try for:-

1.Science group with Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics for engineering courses.

2.You can opt physics/chemistry/biology for medical courses.

Then you can do usual courses:-

Since you are not interested in Mathematics you can go for other stream also . You can go with Biology or if you have interest in Commerce then take Commerce .

As you want to be an I.P.S in future you can go with any of them . The eligibility criteria for this is the candidates must be in the final year or passed the graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university.

The age of candidates will be between :--
21-30 years for General category students.
21-33 years for OBC .
21-35 years for SC/ST .

There is no separate examination is conducted by UPSC for I.P.S the candidate have to apply for CSAT .

Cool Re: Which subject can I choose in 11th?

From my opinion you can choose science stream because of follwing reasons:
1.You can choose science stream because it is easier to choose commerce or arts after 11th but you can not choose science after taking commerce or arts that's why i am telling you to choose science
2.you can apply in civil services if are not interested in taking part in engineering then you can do medical.
thank you

I am providing the list of streams available in the 11th standard as below:

1. Physics, Chemistry, Maths (Science Stream)
2. Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Medical Stream)
3. Commerce, Economics (Accountant Stream)

And hence depending upon the admission and marks scored in the 10th standard select any one of the streams.

There is one thing that you need to understand and that is your own interest.
Getting marks in subjects is one thing and taking interest is another. Though students tend to show interests in the subjects in which they secure marks, but the most important thing is how your mind behaves when you deal with particular subjects.

Now, if checking the possibilities in future both engineering(most popular after PCM) and MBBS(with PCB) have great future.

If you take up biology then initially you have to prepare really hard and if you then get a chance to be apart of any govt. MBBS college then you will lead a sound and a prosperous life.

Similar is the case with PCM, but in engineering, your mind needs to work more intellectually rather then relying on the memory.

So, my advise is to understand what are you good at, do you like to retain things in your mind or you like to intellectualize your brain.

Your stream in Higher secondary class should be selected based on your interest and life time ambition.

To become engineer/scientist, you must take PCM stream

To become doctor or any science related specialists, you must take PCB or Pure science stream

To become CA/CS/B.Com/B.A/BCA/BBA , you must take Commerce or arts stream

List of entrance exam to be applied after completing 12th class are as follows:-

>>AIEEE
>>JEE Mains and Advanced.
>>AIPMT
>>EAMCET
>>PMT
>>NEET
>>NATA

etc.,

Hi,

There are three different streams after 10th.

1. Science.

2. Arts.

3. Commerce.

As you are not interested in Maths so you do not think of science.

You may study Arts or commerce.

There are several subjects in Arts and commerce too.

In arts you can study either of the below subjects:

History,Geography,English,sociology,nitration.

In commerce you can have below subjects like

Accountancy.

In either case you will be eligible for IPS after completing graduation ain any subject.
