Re: Which subject should I choose for IAS exam? i have given my 12th this year with PCM+Informatics Practices
You have decided lots of important things.
1. You don't want to do B.Tech. 2. You want to become an IAS officer You should always stand tight with your decisions if you are aspiring for a wonderful career like becoming an IAS officer. So your above lines shuld be like 1. You don't have to do B.Tech. 2. You have to become an IAS officer. As you already mentioned you are good at Chemistry so you can take Chemistry as one of the optional paper in Civil Services Examination. You can apply for Civil Services Examination only after completing graduation. You should always choose your specialization in graduation according to your choice and your goals. If you choose Arts subject in graduation and you take an arts subject (say History or Geography) then you will have benefit in preparing for General Studies. The second optional subject you can take History/Geography or the subject you are going to study in graduation. This would decrease load of Civil Services Exam syllabus a bit. |
