The syllabus for various branchs for the JTO exam are same. Some questions are coming from the technical field and some from reasoning.

After completing your B.tech or B.E in computer science you can give exam for JTO(telecom).

Exam will consists of following section:
Section-I : Engineering stream :50 questions
Section-II : Engineering stream :50 questions
Section-III: General Ability Test : 20 questions

Engineering stream will consists of questions from:

1. Operating system
2. computer networks
3. database
4. programming language C, C++
5. Object oriented programing
6. software engineering
7. compiler design
8. Data structure

General ability consists of:

1. numerical ability
2. verbal ability
3. english
