ITO exam in conducted by SSC for selection of IT officers.

Eligibility:
*Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university

*Age:
You must not be less than 18 years and not greater than 27 years on 1st July during the year of examination

*Phyisical Standards:
Min.Height: 157.6 cm
Chest: 81cm

Age Limit: The age limit set for the posts of Inspector of Income Tax, Inspector is 18-27 years as on March 2011 is set as the age limit for the remaining posts.

Educational Qualification: Graduation in any subject from any accredited university is expected as the minimum educational qualification for all the over posts.

Selection Process:
Combined Graduate Level (Tier-I) Examination-2011 that will be held on End of July 2011 and 1st week of August 2011 is need to be passed by the candidates for their selection by the Staff Selection Commission.

JTO i.e Junior Telecom Officer Exam conducted By Board Of BSNL.

Notification For JTO Exam yet to Come.

BSNL is currently having three Exams 1.Telecom 2. Civil & 3.Electrical
For Eligibility:-

Eligibilities for BSNL JTO (Telecom):
BE/B. Tech or equivalent Engineering degree in any of the disciplines of Telecommunication, Electronics, Radio, Computer, Electrical or Information Technology.

Eligibilities for BSNL JTO (Civil):
BE/B. Tech or equivalent Engineering degree in Civil Engineering.

Eligibilities for BSNL JTO (Electrical):
BE/B. Tech or equivalent Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering

Basically JTO 2011 has not been published yet

Tentative* dates are:-


Date for Notification:- March-April 2011

Date of Exam:- June

If you have completed your bachelor degree, then you are eligible to appear in ITO examinations. Because graduation from any stream is the minimum eligiblity creteria to eligible for ITO exams.

So, if your age is between 18 to 27 years, then you are eligible to appear in this examination.

So, if you are interested in ITO Exams, then please read the employment newspaper, because the notification of ITO Exams are come in the employment newspaper.

The ITO exams consists of -

Preliminary exams

Main exams

Personality test.


So, after clear all these exams, you will get a chance to become ITO officer.

So, if you have completed your Graduation, then you can apply for ITO exams.

(iv) Chowinghee Sales Bureau Pvt. Ltd. Vs. CIT 87 ITR 542 (SC)
(v) Chelapalli Sugars Ltd. Vs. CIT 98 ITR 167 (SC)
(vi) Mc. Dowell and Co. Ltd. Vs. Commercial Tax Officer 154 ITR148 (SC)

Well ITO(Income Tax Officer) is a good profession that you have chosen.You can appear for this profession and the minimum eligibility criteria is that you need to have minimum of degree certificate in any of the stream from a recognized college or equivalent certificate to it.For the syllabus you can refer this website.

I have 33 years of age, completed graduation in science and after that completed CA final groupI in may 2008 & appeared in Gr-II in this May.There was any scope of service in income tax department.

I WANT TO BE A INCOME TAX OFFICER.....ND THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA SHOWS THAT THE GRADUATION MUST BE FROM,A RECOGNIZED UNIVERSITY. SO I WANT THE INFORMATION ABOUT THAT PRE-DETERMINED UNIVERSITIES........??????
