every year this exam is conducted by the UPSC.
and there is two phase of the exam.PTA ND MAINS AND THEN INTERVIEW.

The syllabus of IFS, you can take from the site

IFS is Indian foreign services,this test every year is conducted by the UPSC.

IFS exam is conducted by the upsc.

it includes the three main exams

1) general English
2) GENERAL KNOWLEDGE
3) OPTIONAL SUBJECT

in the optional subjects you can choose the subject in which you are interested and have the knowledge of the subject.

the optional subjects for the IFS exam are
(in the optional subject there are two papers of the subject selected by candidate)

1) agriculture
2) agriculture engineering
3) animal husbandary and veterinery science
4) chemical engineering
5) chemistry
6) civil engineering
7) forestry
8) geology
9) mathematics
10) mechanical engineering
11)physics
12) statistics
13) zoology

these are the optional subjects of the IFS EXAM each of these subject have the two papers.

to study these type of exams one must aware about the current affairs
conceptual studying is very much important.
and understanding in the subject is key to success in the exam.

sir, iwant to know that why does upsc not take ifs exam from all strem (arts,commerce,science)?
because lastly only trainning counts..and one from any stream can have a strong feeling to protect environment and wild life.

UPSC have changed the Civil Service examination pattern And this exam will be for 2 papers . Both papers will be objective questions paper. Both of CSAT paper will be same marks. So, If you need the CSAT examination pattern, then please dont worry just check these given pattern -

New Civil Services Examination Pattern -

Current Affairs from National and International Evants

Logical Reasoning and Decision Making Solution

Elementary

Mathematics

Quantitative Ability

Data Interpretation from Graphic and Chart.

UPSC Civil services examination Eligiblity -

To appear in This examination, You need to complete your Graduation degree examination and Your age should between 21 to 30 years.
