Is their any other enterance exam other than net ugc to qualify for phd. and which do not have any age boundations.

There is no age boundaries for the NET exam. Also this exam is for those who wish to go into the teaching field. You need to first decide on the university from where you plan to take up the same. Most of the universities conduct their own entrance exams. Also normally there wont be any age limits for the same.

Most of the reputed univs conduct their own entrance exam for Ph.D,that is called RATE.Generelly there is no age burden for that.

What percent of marks is required in Masters with Microbiology to be eligible to sit for the RATE examination for Ph.D ?
