Hey friend,

Yeah you can join in for the NDA after passing +2 but not after 10th.

This exam is conducted for candidates to join in defence forces of India such as:

>> Indian Army
>> Indian Navy
>> Indian Air Force

This exam is being conducted by UPSC and is held every year.This exam is held every year as NDA I and NDA II.

Qualification Needed:

>> Candidate need to be a citizen of India

>> The Martial status for the exam is that the candidate must be a unmarried male candidate

>> The age limit for the exam is that the candidate must have 16 1/2-19 years

>> Education qualification for the NDA Exam is that the candidate must have completed +2 from a recognized school board of education with a fair percentage

>> For joining in Indian Air Force and Indian Navy the candidate need to have completed +2 with physics and mathematics as subjects.

>> Candidate must be physically fit as it is a important standard.

Dear friend,

I am sorry to say that you can not join NDA just after passing 10th class. You will have to pass your 12th standard to join NDA.


NDA Stands for National Defence Academy


This examination is conducted by the Union public service commission (UPSC) twice in a year.

As my knowledge there are some basic and important eligibility criteria are described below-

AGE: - Candidates should required to appear in NDA test, born not earlier than 2nd july,1993 and not later than 1st January ,1996

NOTE: - Only unmarried males are eligible.

Educational Qualification : - candidates must passed 10+12th with Physics and Maths and have to minimal 60% in 10th.

NOTE : - Candidates must be physically and medically fit for the NDA test.

I am sorry to say that you can't join N.D.A after passing 10th.

N.D.A is National Defence Academy Exam.

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice on a year.
In month of and April and August.

Eligibility criteria:-
> Pass 12th with any stream from recognized university

There is not much scope after 10th but there is a lot of scope after 12th.

For NDA exam you must have done 12th class from any recognized Board.

->There is some eligibility criteria for NDA and that is:

1)NATIONALITY:You must be an Indian OR a National of
(i) a citizen of India, or
(ii) a subject of Bhutan, or
(iii) a subject of Nepal, or
(iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, the East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently setting in India).

2)You must have completed your 12th class or appearing for the 12th board exams from any recognized board.

3)Your age must be between 16.5 years to 19 years.

4)You must be physically fit.

5)You must be an Unmarried male candidate.

after 10 th apply for NDA exam you need to have a minimum of 65%in 10th and medical certificate pass in that exam then conselling .your nationality is important.

NDA- National defence acedmy. NDA exam is conducted by upsc every twice a year .
After passing 12th you are eligible for NDA exam with any stream of the subject like bio, maths ,commerce etc.
Also other than passing 12th you must have also some of the given eligibility for NDA exam, which are as follow;--
• You must be UNMARRIED
• Your age limit must belong in between 16.5 –19 years
• Your eye sight is not more than -0.75 & +O.25
• You also be physically fit
• You must be citizen of india
• Girls candidate are also eligible for some of the post like nursing


After passing the exam you may also pass through the various ssc process than if nyou pass all of them than you have a training period.
