GATE exam is of 65 question including question from your field which is equal to 50 and some general aptitude question around 15.

So prepare both parts.

First part is very important and in this part you must go through your core subjects of chemistry and keep all formulas and contains in mind because you can tick such directly without much calculation. No need to cover all subjects important is that you must cover major topics from which questions are generally asked.

In second part you have to give just 10 days and which gives you sufficient confidence to do the question in exam.
