Tips to prepare for IAS and IPS exam
I am planning to give the IAS and IPS exams soon, so can someone please provide me the needed tips which I can follow to clear the exam? It will be really helpful if you can give me your valuable suggestion on this. Awaiting for the response.

IAS and IPS are the toughest competitive exams conducted by UPSC.
Eligibility - You must be Indian Citizen. - You must have passed bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. - Your age should be between 21 to 32 years. Age relaxation given 3 years to OBC and 5 years to SC/ST categories. - Maximum attempts allowed are 6 for General and 9 for OBC. No limits for SC/ST. Preparation Tips - Start preparation with planning. - Understand the exam pattern and Read the syllabus. Give more emphasis on hard topics. - Use only standard reference books that covers entire topics of subject. - Join top coaching to crack the exam. - Improve your writing skills. - After completion of each topic at coaching, Revise it yourself. If any doubt, Solve it with the help of your teacher or friend. - Make a note of important points. - Practice more & more on previous asked questions. Important Dates - Notification Date : 22.02.2017 - Last Date of Application : 17.03.2017 - Preliminary Exam : 18.06.2017 - Main Exam : 28.10.2017 |
