A good level of preparation is necessary for IAS/IPS post as the competition for this exam is high. Candidates should given equal importance to both preliminary and main exam preparation. Initiate your preparation on the basis of structure and pattern of the exam. Opting for coaching classes will be good. Model question papers and other standard books can be used for practice. Also, it is necessary to have good general knowledge which will be a subject area included in UPSC civil services exam.
