Re: In which trade of BSc can I qualify for IPS and IAS?
It is not possible to get qualified for IAS and IPS easily.
Because civil services is one of the toughest exam in India through which you can join IAS and IPS. There are people who are preparing for civil services exam from 3 years. Moreover, there is nothing to do with the stream that you have completed your Graduation. Candidates who have completed Graduation with any of the stream are eligible to apply for civil services exam. So, I suggest you to opt for the stream in B.Sc as per your interest and where your knowledge and strengths are being fully utilized. Then you can complete the course successfully by gaining good subject knowledge. Start preparation for civil services exam from the very beginning of your Graduation. There is limit on number of attempts for this exam. For General category : Maximum of 4 attempts. For OBC category : Maximum of 7 attempts. For SC or ST category : No limit on number of attempts. Wish you all the best. |
