NDA/NA Exam (I) 2015

Date of notification: December 27, 2014
Last date for application: January 23, 2015
Date of exam: April 19, 2015

NDA/NA Exam (I) 2015

Date of notification: June 20, 2015
Last date for application: July 17, 2015
Date of exam: September 27, 2015

If you have completed 12th standard then you are eligible for Indian Air Force exam through NDA exam.

NDA stands for National Defence Service Exam. NDA examination is conducted for 3 wings-Indian Air Force, Indian Navy and Indian Army.

Candidates who have completed the 12th standard from a recognized board or equivalent exam are eligible for NDA exam. Final year of 12th standard candidates are also eligible for NDA exam.

Your age should be in between to 16.5 years to 19 years. There is no age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

CDS exam in 2015:-

Opening Dates: 8th November 2014
Closing Dates: 5th December 2014; till 11:59 pm
Closing Date for Application Fee Payment: 4th December 2014; till 23:59 hrs
Date of Exam: 15th February 2015

After completion of graduation degree, you can apply for Indian Air Force exam through CDS exam.

CDS stands for COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICE

The educational qualification and age criteria for CDS exam is given below-

Indian Military Academy:- You need to be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university. Your age should be between 19 to 24 years.

Air Force Academy:- You need to have a bachelor's degree in science with physics or mathematics or B.E./B.Tech in engineering or technology. Your age should be between 19 to 23 years.

Naval Academy:- You need to complete your graduation in engineering or technology or you can do B.Sc degree with physics or mathematics. Your age should be between 19 to 23 years.

Officer's Training Academy:- You need to have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution. Your age should be between 19 to 25 years.

Air Force conducts their own separate exam known as AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test) twice time in a year. This exam is generally conducted as AFCAT-I and AFCAT-II in the month of February and August respectively.

There are wings in Air Force:

1. Flying wing,
2. Technical wing and
3. Ground duty wing.

If you want to apply for the Flying wing then, you should have completed at least your Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) from the recognized university.

If one want to apply for the Technical wing then, one should have completed their B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical department with minimum 60% aggregate from the recognized university.

For Ground duty wings, candidates should have completed at least their bachelor degree in any discipline.

Age Limit:

• For Flying wing: Age should be between 20 to 24 years.
• For Technical wing: Age should be between 20 to 26 years.
• For Ground duty wing: Age should be between 20 to 26 years.

Exam Dates:

AFCAT-I has been successfully completed on 22nd February 2015. And AFCAT-II generally conducted in the month of August every year. Official notification of AFCAT-II exam has not published yet but, it will be published in the of the July 2015. So wait for the official notification, you can get register yourself at official website http://careerairforce.nic.in/

Upcoming Air force entrance exam are - N.D.A.(National defense service)

C.D.S.( Combined defense Service)

where both the exam are conducted for the three wings of armed forces-

Air force
Navel force
Indian army

where N.D.A. is held on the base of the 12th standard and C.D.S. is on the base of the graduation where in N.D.A. only unmarried male candidates are allowed to apply and no female candidates are allowed and in C.D.S. females candidates are also allowed.

Air force also conduct its own bases entrance test AFCAT and this exam is conducted twice a year for-
Flying wing
Ground staff
Technical staff where in technical staff the B.tech graduation degree is afforded to the candidates form a recognized university approved by AICTE and UGC.

Where the eligibility for the C.D.S. is -
Candidate must be Indian and having graduate from a recognized university or collage.

Candidate should be physically fit and fall in age group 19-24 for army and 19-23 for Air-Force and 19-22 for the Navel Academy.

NOTE-; Age relaxation is given as per the rule of Indian government 3 years for the OBC class and 5 Years for the SC/ST class candidates.

There are mainly three entrance exams conducted every year for selection of candidates to the Indian Air Force.

1. NDA/NA entrance test.

It is 10+2 level. NDA I dates are already over.

NDA II dates:

Last date of receiving application:17/07/2015

Date of exam:27/09/2015

2. Combined Defense Services.

It is at bachelor's degree level.

CDS II dates:

Date of notification:18/07/2015

Last date of receiving application:14/08/2015

Date of exam:01/11/2015.

3. Air Force Common Admission Test.

It is also conducted twice every year. AFCAT I is already over.

The notification for AFCAT will be released in September.

There are several entrance exam for entering into Air force.

1. National Defense academy exam.

2. Air Force Common admission test.

3. Combined Defense services.

If you are 10+2 passed, you can apply for NDA/NA exam , age limit should be between 16.5-19.5 years as per latest notification.

NDA I dates are over , NDA 2 dates will be out in June on 20/06/2015.

If you are in final year bachelor's degree, then you can apply for CDS, AFCAT.

CDS 2 notification will be out on 18/07/2015. AFCAT 2 dates are not yet declared.
