For higher studies you can give GATE exam, if you want to do Master degree then go for it,
For job you can give following exams if you have more then 65%-
>NTPC
>BHEL
>BEL
>ONGC
>IOCL
>INDIAN RAILWAY
ETC.

the following are the main course and exams people consider going for after their b.Tech

M.Tech
For M.tech you need to appear for GATE. Syllabus is same as that of your b.tech course.
You can get admission in top IIT and NIT

MBA
For MBA you need to appear for CAT, MAT, ZAT, XAT, CMAT, SNAP, NMAT ATMA etc
you get admitted to IIM, etc

MS
For MS you need to appear for GRE and TOEFL
The better you score in GRE and TOEFL, the better university you get
