Re: What is the admission procedure for Ph.D in IIT?
PHD AT IIT
For Doing PHD in IIT,you have to attain a good grade and a valid GATE score,Many of the IITS are conducting each own interview for taking PHD candidates, they select each candidate according to the need of the students. >> You can apply online to the respective IIT of your choice for this, IIT Bombay also allows to apply twice in a year- one in July session and January session. >>Once they are selected for the Interview, they have to register themselves and submit the forms with necessary documents. Some of the reputed IITs where you can apply for this are: 1. IIT Delhi 2. IIT Chennai 3. IIT Roorkee 4.IIT Kharagpur 5.IIT Bombay Once they are selected for this programme, they will be given stipend all through the year of the course of 18,000 rupees by MHRD of India. Good luck for your future ahead and you can also post other related queries. Thank you. |

Re: What is the admission procedure for Ph.D in IIT?
Candidates with valid NET/GATE score are considered for admission. Such candidates are selected through personnel interview. Others need to attend the entrance test conducted by IIT. They need to get through personnel interview also. Detailed information on this can be collected from IIT portal.
