National Defence Academy- NDA is Entrance for getting into any of the defence field as an Officer.

• ARMY
• NAVY
• AIR FORCE
  

Eligibility:

+2 with PCM group or Equivalent with minimum 60% marks.


AGE:
16 1/2 to 19 years at the commencement of exam date.


Material Status:

Unmarried


Nationality:

Indian.


Subjects:

• Mathematics (300 marks)
• General Ability (600 marks)
  

Total 900 marks.

NDA held twice a year in the month of Feb and Nov.

Application can be bought at Post office.

Notifications can be seen at Newspapers or UPSC site.

National Defence Academy exam conducted under the Union Public Service Commission two times in a year.

1). NDA-I examination,

2). NDA-II examination.

Details about Eligibility:-

The applicant must have to complete +2 with PCM subjects from a recognised board or university for Indian Navy and Indian Airforce. But no need for Indian army.

You must be an Indian origin.

Minimum age limit is 16 1/2 years and the maximum age limit is 19 years, no upper age relaxation for any reservation candidates.

You must be physically fit.

The most important point is that "Only unmarried and male candidates are eligible i.e married boys and girls are not eligible for NDA exams."

Selection process:-

Written exam,

SSB interview,

Medical test.

Written exam syllabus:-

300 for Mathematics,

600 for General ability,

Total of 900 marks.

NDA stand for the National Defence Academy and NDA entrance examination is conducted twice (Name as NDA-I & NDA-II) in every year by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Here i give you the details eligibility criteria for NDA entrance examination.

Eligibility Criteria for NDA Examination.
-->Pass 12th class from a recognize board/University. 12th board exam appearing student can also apply for the NDA examination.

Army Wing-12th Pass in any stream

NDA is the National defense academy .For getting entrance into these academy ,you will have to clear the entrance examination conducted by the Union Public service commission.

This examination is conducted twice every year one in the month of april and august respectively.

The various requirements for the National defense academy examinations are as follows:

First of all dealing with your query ,the minimum age limit for the NDA examinations is 16.5 years and the maximum age limit for the exam is 19 years .There is no age relaxations provided to candidates of any category.

Second one is the academic requirement is 10+2 passed /appearing from a recognized board with english as compulsory subjects .If you are from non science stream then you are eligible for the Indian army only.

>>You must be unmarried male Indian in order to apply for the examinations.You should be physically and mentally fit.

Examination pattern is as follows:

The important dates for the NDA I exams are already passed and the important dates for the NDA II are as follows:

The Term "NDA" stands for National Defense Academy. The NDA Examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission.

The NDA Examination is conducted every year twice in the months of April and August as NDA-I and NDA-II.

The Age Limit for NDA Exam is 16.5-19 years as there is no relaxation given in upper age no matter the candidate is belonging to any category.

* Also the minimum educational qualification required for NDA is 12th with PCM from any category.

* If the candidate has passed 12th with non-PCM then they can only apply for Indian Army through the NDA Exam.

The NDA Examination requires some more criteria to be fulfilled :

* The candidate must be an Indian.

* The Candidate must be a male.

* The candidate must be unmarried.

I am Happy to say that you are eligible for N.D.A exam because you are is below 19 year.

Age limit for N.D.A exam is 16.5-19 year.

In N.D.A you can apply after passing 12th with any stream.
