# Lecturer is an educationist who is responsible for imparting academic knowledge to school level as well as college going students.

# Educational qualification:

* Must possess master degree in English subject.
* Must have taken minimum 55% mars.
* Must have cleared NET (National Eligibility Test) conducted by UGC.

# Following are the qualities required by a Lecturer:

* Should be able to speak people in front of audience.
* Should be able to developing new teaching techniques.
* Ability to take seminars, assignments, tests etc.
* Ability to judging, assessing and monitoring the student's progress.
* Should have to impart moral education and moral values of life.

# Candidate with master degree along with NET have the following job options:

* Lecturer
* Professor
* Assistant Professor
* Head of Department (HoD)
* Reader

# Minimum age required for becoming lecture is 20 years. However, there is no any prescribed upper age.

# Remuneration in the field of lecturership initially around Rs. 25,000/- and goes up to Rs. 50,000/- with experience and tenure of job.
