What is age limit for lecturership in colleges? Is there any kind of relaxation in age for Government school headmasters?
I am working as a Headmaster in a Government school. I am around 40 years old. Can I get lecturership in college or universities? How much age relaxation I can get?

Normally for most of the government lecturer job there is an upper age limit of 35 years for general category candidates. There is relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST category and 3 years for OBC category. Also, there is relaxation of 10 years for physically handicapped candidates.
You need to clear NET to become eligible for government lecturer job after completion of your masters degree in a relavant discipline. Hence, make sure that you have that much of qualification. |
