Re: What is the best time for preparing for GRE exam?
Quote:
There is no time fixed to start preparation for GRE, GRE consists of questions from general mathematics and english vocabulary. Generally when you prepare for GRE examination you try to make strong your english part and not the maths part, so its better to start as earlier as possible if you are aimed for GRE. It will not only increase your vocabulary more better but also will improve your personality and you can learn more and more words easily. Also its better not to only just mug up the words and appear for the examination, when you learn words try also to take them in your general routine talks. It will help you remember the words more easily. Thank you and best wishes... |

Re: What is the best time for preparing for GRE exam?
The main section in the GRE exam is :
Gre Verbal Section, GRE writing section, 1. Make a study plan and follow it. The right study plan will help you manage time in preparing for the GRE whether you have three months, three weeks or only a few days to prepare. * Second, take the Diagnostic Examination. From the scores, youll be able to see where you need to concentrate your efforts. * Third, develop a plan: Best Plan: 2-3 months to prepare for the GRE. Complete all exercises in preferred study guide, engage in small group study; take multiple practice exams. Accelerated Plan: If you only have 30 days to prepare, youll have have to sacrifice a bit on the practice exams, but youll have time to work through sample questions. Top Speed: If the GRE is coming up in two weeks or less, you may only have time to concentrate on the Diagnostic Examination and hit critical parts of each chapter in a GRE study guide. 2. Learn the directions in advance. If you already knows what to do for each question type, you wont waste precious test time and you can jump right in and begin answering questions as soon as the bests begins. On the GRE, its to your advantage to answer every question; youll be penalized for any questions left unanswered when time runs out. To make an educated guess by eliminating one of more answer choices is a good thing! 4. In sentence completions, look for clue words. If you cant come up with the missing word immediately, look for clue words which will reveal the meaning of the sentence and point you in the right direction. |

Re: What is the best time for preparing for GRE exam?
It's really good to here that you are going to appear in the Graduate Entrance Examination(GRE).
The best times starts from the starting of the 3rd year of B.Tech.But for the preparation of GRE examination , remember one thing that you must be consistent for the preparation and try to remember atleast 20 words daily. It will be more helpful at the end of the preparation.Best Wishes. |

Re: What is the best time for preparing for GRE exam?
Best Time to study For GRE i.e Graduate Record Examination is @ Degree Level Or graduation Level. Whenever you can Join after your 2nd year of your Degree. Basically Coaching Institute Takes 10 months TO complete Full courses.
So, Best time will be @ prefinal year of your any degree, either its Engineering Or bSC. If you really aspire to Crack This then the only way to go out is through your hard work because GRE is one the Toughest Exam as Observed yet. |

Re: What is the best time for preparing for GRE exam?
Hi guys,
i would thank u first of all coz u thought of taking the GRE test.... well u might be confused now abt how much time u actually need to prepare for GRE so tht u get a high score(1400 ) actually it depends on the individual ...... but if u study for nearly one or two hours a day then u may need 3 or four months..... preparing GRE is not abt learning something new , but the main part lies with recalling what you have learnt before..... but dont lose hope if u dont hav much time to spend .... coz its never too late to begin something.... even 1 month is enough to get a high score if u really concentrate... anyways all the best guys,.. |

Re: What is the best time for preparing for GRE exam?
i am a undergrad currently pursuing my 3rd year b.tech (computers) right now , and i am pretty sure about starting GRE coaching this year itself, only problem is whether i should join it at the start of the year , or after a semester passes (ie in december).
My approach is to first try my hand on study and then start a full-fledged study from december(semester 6)..please guide me at its earliest .. thanks in anticipation. |
