My son is studying in standard 7th and his date of birth is October 8th,2005. Will he face any problems when he will appear for his board exam due to his age?

The correct age to appear in 10th standard board examinations is 15 years. As per the information you have mentioned in your query, your son was born on 8th October, 2005, he is 12 years old at present being a 7th standard student, so, by the completion of his 10th standard, he will attain the age of 15 years and he is eligible to appear in board examination without any problems.

No there will be no any problem regarding board examination. As because there is no any special rule regarding age criteria set by the government or CBSE. That is why no problem comes at the time of registration.
Generally at the age of 13 to 15 years candidates can apply for Board Examination. So no need to worry.

There is no official notification regarding the minimum or maximum age limit to appear for 10th board examination.

So, I am not eligible to give best reply to your query.

It is the Directorate of State Government who decides the age limit to appear in board examination for the candidates of particular state.

As per my knowledge 10th board examination will be written by the student who is in the age group of 14 or 15 but the age criteria is not mentioned any where officially that the candidate must have a minimum of 14 years or a max. of 15 years.
So, don't worry he will not face any problem. For more information regarding this, consult the principal in which your child is studying.
