hello sir
i just appeared for 12th std now i'm confuse what to do after 12th i have great passion for computers and i really want to do something related to computers i mean software,networking and all that stuffs which one would be best for me either engineering or bsc. please help

Lets talk to you clearly ..
engineering differs from Bsc in some ways that engineering courses are not only to teach you something for your course it also teaches you how to tackle with this tough world..
it teaches you all subjects like management,science,English so that you can cope up with this competitive world.

so if you are interested to do career in computer then according to me suggestion is to go for engineering..

try to go for a good engineering college(preferable IITs and NITs etc.)

you can take computer science or IT(Information Technology) where you can learn computer subjects as well as some networking subjects like inter-networking,communication subjects like digital and analog communication and all like that..

so choose wisely and best of luck for your future...

If you are Interested in Computer field and if you have completed your 12Th examination and make your future bright in computer field, then i will suggest you to do BCA Course after 12Th examination.

BCA is a good course in computer field and the duration of this course was 3 year, It is undergraduate course, So after 12Th, You are eligible for BCA course.

And after BCA if you can do MCA Course then you will become master in computers and then you will find good jobs in top IT companies like Wipro, Infoysis, TCS and other top companies. The salary package of MCA students was good, So its better for you if you can do BCA and MCA course, If you really interested in computer field.

Which is better between engineering and B.Sc -

Both are good course, B.sc is 3 year Under Graduate course, But B.tech was 4 year under graduate degree course. If your aim is to become a engineer then B.tech is good option, B.sc is a simple degree course and after this course you can easily do M.sc Or MCA course. So, Its depends on you, which course is most important for you, But if you want to make your career in Computer field, then i think BCA and MCA is the best option for you. So please think and decide, because to opt course is totally your decision, no one can force you to opt this particular course.

Engineering is the best you can opt for but B.Sc is also not bad.
In order to get admission in Engineering you need to need to first crack the entrance exams which are conducted like MHT-CET,etc.
If you go for B.Sc then you need to select either B.Sc Computer Science or B.Sc Information Technology.Both of them are good.
You can also apply for BCA which is also related to Computers field.
After completing B.Sc or BCA you can further complete MCA which will further enhance your career .

You wont be able to get good job opportunity after just completing B.Sc or BCA.
So you will be required to complete MCA or any P.G. courses.
So in all you will be required to invest 3 years(B.Sc) + 3 years(MCA) / 2 years(M.Sc) to get good job if you go for B.Sc.
While in B.E after completing your 4 years of degree you will easily get good job.

So it would have been better if you can opt for B.E rather than B.Sc.
But don't consider B.Sc as too low Since it is also good & will provide you with lots of career opportunities .

So choose wisely & properly.

Option for you after 12th:
1. B.Tech in IT
2. B.Tech in Computer Engineering
3. B.Sc in Computer Science
4. B.Sc in IT
5. BCA

B.tech in comp , b.sc comp sci or u cn go 4 mst demanded b.sc multimedia n animation from arena university . .

go for engg as computer science branch

or
you go for bca

these two course are fully involved in computer subject.....

as you say you are intrested in software and networking it is better for you to do engineering from c.s. branch or from i.t. branch.

don't get confused between so many options make your mind towards completion of your goal and start preparing for entrance exam.

If you are interested in computers field then you should have a great knowledge about computers.
Even i also have a great passion in computers and i am pursuing b.tech so in my opinion,btech is far better than bsc if you want to become a good engineer.
Engineer is a software programmer in the fields of computers and engineering is a programming that relates all those good programmers that is considered as a software.
So.you should have a good option to become a good engineer with the best college like:
IIT Delhi
IIT Kanpur.
IIT Roorkee which is one of the top most colleges iv india.
NSIT
DCE
There are also some best colleges in Delhi-NCR such as:
BM institute of engineering and management,Sonipat,Haryana.
Sonipat institute of engineering and management,Sonipat,Haryana.
Manav rachna university and many more...
So you should opt for the best course,its all depends on you...

Dear Friend,

After 12th if you have interested in computers then you do BCA,BE,B.Sc-IT.

I am Computer Engineer suggest you that if you are very interested in computers then engineering is better then B.Sc.

Because engineering students have a better chance in placements and it is full course.But I not say that B.Sc is not a good course. B.Sc is also a best course.But it depends on your intrest.

If you are passionate about computers and raring to go for it,then why the second thought? i would advice you to go for the Engineering in computers or Information Technology.
After an engineering degree you will get lots of opportunities compared to non technical degrees.
Remember if you follow your interests then it becomes more obvious that you would be more successful in your life.
And moreover,after engineering in computers/I.T,there are enormous opportunities in Networking and software field.

So,follow your interests and work hard,so that you can achieve the greater heights.

when you are passionate of doing the course related to computer work .. then don't think too much .

you can write the entrance Texan for an engineering course to get admission into it..

otherwise you can choose computer science which is for three year ...

--take any one the decision as both are good at their places.. for your future...

You can go for

1) First get under graduation degree BCA (Bachelor Of Computer Application),Its of 3years..

2) After BCA, You can do MCA (Master Of Computer Application),It is also of 3 years.

3)Other Option is you can go for CS ,Computer Science(4 years);

If you are interested in computers then Engineering is the best option for you as Computer engineers have the option of moving into hardware or software positions or blending the two. On projects, both these engineers usually work together as a team. It is these computer engineers who design software and hard ware computer-based systems for embedded micro controllers, designing - VLSI chips, analog sensors, mixed signal circuit boards and operating systems.

The basic eligibility criteria for a BE / B.Tech in Computer Engineering is 10+2 or equivalent examination, with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The eligibility for Diploma in Computer Engineering is 10 + 2 with Science Subjects.

A Computer Engineer must have the ability to create and invent things, a good knowledge in technology and an interest in mathematics and science. engineering is much better opyion for you.

After 12th better is the engineering fro you...

If your PCM is strong in 12th then you can do B.tech with IT or with CS.
else BCA is the best option for you.

In between engineering and BSc -engineering is the best option.
B.Tech has more value than BSc.

If u have interest in computer programming then u should do btech with c.s.or i.t branch.as u can get maximum benefit of ur programming .u can also do bca i.e bachelor of computer application .or if u do study then also u can do programming.

If you are interested in the field of computer then i think that BCA is the

best option for you. BCA is the Bachelor of Computer Application. It is of

Batter Between Engineering and B.Sc

If you want to know that the best course between engineering & B.Sc

then i think that engineering is the best for you because it is a technical

course and after completing this course you can get a good job in a big

company but if you do B.Sc course then you will do hard work for getting

a good job after completing B.Sc course. So i think that engineering is

the best option for you. If you want to become an engineer then you

should choose the engineering field. It is duration of 4 years.

If you are interested in computer science then please go for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering CSE.

On completion of this you will get both software and hardware knowledge.

After 12th, you can choose B.Tech in Computer Science. This course has a period of four years. After completing graduation, you can go for M.Tech in computer science. This will give you a valuable profession. B.Sc Computer science is a three year degree course. You will get only a basic idea about the computer operations from a graduation. If you are interested in software and networking, then engineering will suit for you.

if u r interested in computer programming ,then u should do b tech with computer science or i.t. Except b.s.c as there is a wider scope in b tech.you can also do b.c.a ,as after b.c.a you can get a govt. Job,you should do b.s.c only if u r interested in research field.

Yes BCA is the best option for you.

But you have not mentioned your marks in 12th.

Because even to get admission in BCA you have to get atleast 50% in 12th with maths or computer as one of the subjects and english as a compulsory subject.

But if you have lower than 50% marks, then you can get admission in management quota seat.

A common entrance test is held as per the rules of individual university or college.

Its good to know that you have so much passion about computers.

In my opinion B.tech in Computer science or IT OR BCA is the best option.

After B.tech you will get a good job but if you want to study further then opt for M.tech.

After BCA you will not get good job with a guaranty, you can do MCA or MBA after that.

Then you will get a very good job opportunity.

hlo sir. i am doing bsc from lko university. but i wish to go in big software companies , as in the computing field. right now i am waiting for my results of bsc 1st year, i would like to ask that which one is good -btech in CS/IT or bsc in CS/IT and what are the job oppurtutinities in either of them????????

Can I Do Direct Bsc IT After 12th ?

BCA is a good course in computer field and the duration of this course was 3 year, It is undergraduate course, So after 12Th, You are eligible for BCA course.
