hi guys ,i would completing my masters in telecommunications engineering
in uk this december . i am confuse about what to do next when i return to india

if i want to do job.i don,t have any experience ,so what would be the best
course to do?

the best option for you would be to write the UPSC exam after you return to india.
as masters in telecommunication is a very good educational qualification and i am sure that if you are technically strong and score high in the UPSC then for sure you would be in a high ranking post.
also, if you are not interested in this, then go ahead with the private telecom industries where you have a good chance.
but then their selection process would be tough
else you got to continue with your studies and enter into research field.

after completion of master degree in telecommunication there are so many scope in india also. you should not be confused.


now in india you will be eligible to do higher study on telecommunication. you may go for research field also. the growth of telecommunication in india is very high. so job opportunity and scope also high and it is gradually increased.


in india if you want to do government job then you may try for BSNL JTO. also others job available in government sector like in defense sector or in civil service and other.

if you want to join in private company then you may join as network engineer or BTS engineer etc.

as you have no work experience so you may do some training from a good institution before joining in job. there are institution which provide training on networking and other. you may do this training if you wish. they try for job. easily you will get good job.

You can try for IES to get into a top profile in Telecom department. Or you can target to get into the networking divisions of indian operators or software vendors targeting telecom companies as a domain consultant or specialist. If you have good exposure to the latest telecommunication technologies, you have a high demand in the growing markets like India

look friend if you are going to complete your masters in communication than you may go for job there is lots of company which are seeking for communication engineer's with good knowledge though experience matters but there are lots of vacancy are there for freshers
so you may be able to get a good job here in India

and if you want your carrier in research based job than you may opt Jrf from any good university like iits or you may continue there itself its upon your choice

Plenty of opportunities like BSNL, MTNL in public sector and many small and large firms like Reliance, Airtel etc... Upon return, just forward your resumes to the HR sections of many small and large firms and your masters degree would be more than enough for them...

You can look for Masters in Communication System from Swansea University, Telecommunication Technology from Aston University, Telecommunication and Information Systems from University of Essex, Telecommunications and Network from City University etc.

you can go for the PHD in Telecommunication that will be very much helpful and you will get the good position in your area itself, you can become the HOD of your department, there starting salary is 1 lake per month, it is great to here, prepare accordingly and Success is your friend

while you doing your Master Studies go to many Internship Training to Many Company, that will be very much helpful for user basic knowledge , then after finished your studies go through Engineer Trainee in some Company that will be very much helpful ,

What every your Basic studies go through it very well,then develop your knowledge in that for eg for you, PSK,FSK,APK and Modulation is very Important in your core field work through that very well, then OSI model and Router

These days the most growing sector is the telecom. how come you think that what to do in India after returning from UK with a Masters degree in Telecommunications.
You have a great scope in telecom solution provider companies like Tech Mahindra to start. Also you can go with BSNL and other telecom operators for job.

But I am not satisfied as a software developer and planning to shift after total 2-3 years of work experience. I have interest and intellect in many fields like administration, core telecom etc.
So I had 3 options in front of me like 1. appearing for IAS/IES 2. Go for MS in US(in telecom) 3. doing MBA from one of the top 25 universities in the world/India. And now I have taken a wise(safe) decision of doing MBA in Operations(my interest) OR Systems(coz of my work exp in IT) and going to appaer for CAT/GMAT in 2011. So I need to know the future job opportunities fot MBA in Operarations fiels and how will it suit me?
