Re: What is the eligibility criteria for IBPS PO entrance exam?
Pass in graduation is enough to apply for IBPS P.O. In the initial notification, they mentioned degree with 60% marks is the required qualification. But later IBPS revised the notification. According to the revised notification, graduates in any stream can apply. Anyway, percentage of marks is calculated as - Obtained marks in all semesters/Total marks for all semerters.

Re: What is the eligibility criteria for IBPS PO entrance exam?
Dear Friend,
The Acronym "IBPS" stands for Institute Of Banking Personnel Selection. In the year 2011 , all the public sector banks except the State Bank Of India came together and decided that from the upcoming years there will be only one common written examination for the selection of candidates for PO as well as Clerical posts in these 19 banks. In this way the Institute Of Banking Personnel Selection came into existence. The IBPS Conducts the Banking Exams mainly for the following posts : * Bank Clerk * Bank PO The Eligibility Criteria for IBPS Bank PO are : ## Educational Qualifications : >> The candidate must have completed graduation in any stream from any UGC recognized university. >> The candidate must have secured a minimum of 60% marks if belonging to General Category. >> Relaxation of 5% marks is given to those candidates who belong to Reserved Categories or are Physically Handicapped. ## Age Limit : >> For General Candidates : 20-28 yrs >> For OBC Candidates : 20-31 yrs >> For SC/ST Candidates : 20-33 yrs >> For Physically Handicapped : 20-38 yrs ## Nationality : >> The candidate must be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal or a subject of Bhutan. Now as per your query , i would like to tell you that you need to have a minimum of 60% marks in overall graduation degree which means the average of all semester marks should not be less than 60%. This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. Hope the information will help you to the extent you want. |
