Eligibility Criteria for Lateral Entry in Marine Engineering : 1.You should complete 10+2 with MPC and have first year Marine/Shipping Engineering from the recognized university with minimum 60% of marks. 2.Or if you have a Diploma with below stream completed students can also eligible to apply for Lateral Entry. * Diploma in Marine Engineering * Electrical Engineering * Electronics and Communication Engineering * Mechanical Engineering 3.For Diploma students have to score minimum 55% of marks from the recognized board. 4.Age should be below 25 years as per the government norms. 5.Minimum Acceptable height is 157 cms. |

Eligibility Criteria for lateral entry in Marine Engineering:
You should have passed diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Marine with 55% marks in final year or passed first year of engineering degree Mechanical/Electrical stream with 60% marks from a recognized university/college. Duration of this course is 3 years after Diploma. You will get admission into direct 2nd year of Engineering degree. Your age should be below 25 years at time of admission. You have to LEET exam to take admission in Lateral Entry in Marine Engineering. |
