If you have studied 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology then you can surely apply for Genetic Engineering course.

The admission in top colleges will be based on the entrance examination and you must have very good rank in it to get admission into top college.


So apply for the entrance exam if you have the right subject combination.

You can go for B.Tech in Genetic Engineering from a top engineering college.

Genetic engineering is a laboratory technique used by the scientist to change the DNA o living organisms.Genetic engineers use the artificial technique to modify the sequence in the natural genes.

The eligibility criteria for the genetic engineering is as below:

>>10+2 passed /appearing candidate with physics,chemistry,biology or PCM as compulsory subjects from a recognized board is eligible for genetic engineering.

>>After that you will have to give entrance examinations ISEET that through which you can take admission in good engineering college for pursuing bachelor of technology in it.

>>You can also go for the B.sc in genetic engineering.

i did my advance level in Sri Lanka. In Sri Lanka as a bio student we only do bio,chemistry & physics. we don't do maths. so if i want to do genetic eng in India what i have to do?
