In order to be eligible for the IAS examination you have to complete your GRADUATION in any discipline form a recognized university.
If you are in the final year of your graduation,you will be eligible.

Age Criteria-:

Your age should not be less than 21 years and should be less than 30 years of age as on the 1st August of the year of the examination.

OBC-> 3 years upper age relaxation.
SC/ST-> 5 years upper age relaxation.

At the moment you can not apply for the Indian Administrative Service. You will first have to complete graduation and only then you are eligible for the Indian Administrative Service entrance exam which is called Civil Services Examination.

Depending on the subjects you have taken in 12th standard, I will recommend you to apply for a graduation course. For example if you had taken Phyiscs, Chemistry and Maths in 12th standard then better go for the Bachelor of Technology course.

Once you have completed graduation you would be free to apply for the Indian Administrative Service. For which you must clear Civil Services Examination.

To apply for the Civil Services Examination you will have to wait for the official notification from the Union Public Service Commission. Read the notification carefully and apply properly. Any mistaken would mean that you may not be allowed to appear for the exam.

You have just passed 12th and now when you have decided to become an IAS officer, then you can start your preparation.

The minimum qualification required for IAS exam is graduation.

You will have to complete graduation for IAS exam. Though you can also apply while you will be in the final year of graduation.

The age required for IAS exam is between 21 years to 30 years for general category.

Government has given the upper age relaxation for 3 years for OBC category and 5 Years for SC/ST category.

IAS exams are conducted every year by UPSC.

its not possible to become IAS officer after intermediate / 12th..you need to complete you graduation.

to join in IAS ,you need to satisfy its eligibility criteria and then need to crack the CSAT.

CSAT IS civil service aptitude test,conduct by upsc once in a year in hte following stages

1)preliminary test

2)main exam

3)interview
