And I want to become an IAS this is my childhood dream.
But I do commerce field so please explain
detail about IAS and I am eligible for IAS.......????????

IAS Stands for Indian Administrative Service Examination. IAS is conducted by Union Public Service Commission.

If you have completed graduation degree from a recognized university then you are eligible for IAS exam. Final year student are eligible for IAS exam.

Your age should be in between 21 to 30 years if you a general candidate. Age relaxation is provided for reserved category candidates.

5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates
3 years relaxation for OBC Candidates
10 years relaxation for PHC candidates
5 years relaxation for Ex-serviceman

No. of Attempts:

For General: 3
For OBC: 7
For SC/ST: No Restriction

It is good to show interest in joining in as a IAS officer at an young age, but you are not eligible at this stage join in as a IAS officer. To become a IAS officer you need to write the IAS Exam which is being conducted by UPSC evey year.

The procedure to apply for the IAS exam is candidate should satisfy the eligibility criteria's.

ELIGIBILITY FOR IAS:

~ Candidate appearing should be a citizen of India

~ The educational qualification states that candidate should have completed degree in any stream from a recognized university.

~ Age limit needed by a general category candidate is 21-30 yaers

~ For SC/ST candidate it is 21-35 years and for OBC it is 21-33 years


The number of attempts which are allowed for candidates are:

>> For SC/ST : No limit
>> For OBC : 7
>> For General : 4

Candidates are selected through:

1. Prelims
2. Main Exam
3. Interview

1) The candidate shouldhave compleeted Graduation from a Recognised University

2) Minimum age shouldnot be lessthan 21 years. For General category candidates , Maximum age limit is 30 years only

--> Upper age limit for different category candidates is as given below.

* Maximum of 5 years for the SC or ST category candidates
* Maximum of 3 years for the OBC Category candidates
* Upto maximum of 3 years for a Defence service personnel who disabled in the operation of Hostilities with any Foreign country
* Upto maxmimum of 10 years , incase of Blind and Deaf candidates.

3) The candidate shouldbe a citizen of India

IAS stand for Indian Administrative Service. IAS exam are conducted by UPSC every year.
The eligibility to become an IAS officer are as under:-
- Candidate should be a citizen of India.
- Candidate age should not be less than 21 years for any category.The upper age limit is 30 years for general category. However, there is relaxation in upper age limit by 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST.
- Candidate should have passed graduation in any stream from a recognized university.
Candidates are selected as IAS officer only when they clear all the exams conducted by UPSC in the form of preliminary exam,main exam and the last is interview.

If you are studying in 12th then you have to be a graduate at least at the time of application.

UPSC stands for the Union Public Service Commission.

For filling up the various highly reputed posts in all the government departments across the country they conduct a Civil Services Examination every year.

According to the guidelines released by the UPSC regarding the eligibility for writing the CSE are as follows :

* The minimum and maximum age criteria is 21 years minimum and 32 years maximum for a general candidate.

* The minimum educational qualification required is the candidate should be graduate under the scheme of 10+2+3 of UGC at least.

* There is no such fixed or minimum percentage criteria given by them at rhe time of graduation.

* The maximum number of attempts is 6 for a general candidate.

No dear you don't have the eligibility criteria to apply for the IAS Examination with 12th qualification. If you are interested to apply for the Indian Administrative Service Examination then you have to complete the Graduation in any stream even in Commerce from the recognized university.

Age should be in between 21 to 30 years for Indian Administrative Services conducted by the UPSC.

There is Age relaxation according to the government norms and Infact there is No requirement of Percentage criteria for the Civil's Examination.

Final year students can also eligible to apply for the IAS Examination.

IAS is indian administrative service ,exam is conduct by upsc.

Eligibility:-

Agelimit:- minimum age required is 21 years and maximum age required is 30 years.

Educational qualification :- must be a degree holder ,passed in all subjects

* final year students can appear for the same.

Percentage bar :- passed in all streams,without any backlog.

Must be indian

Must be medically fine.
