To become an IAS one has to crack the UPSC civil services exam.
first you need to clera the preliminary exam and then you have to crack the IAS main exam. After which you will have to go through interview and then you will be selected. Now , to appear for the exam you need to satisfy the following criterion first- Nationality-you should be an Indian citizen. Age limit-you should be between 21-30 years of age. Qualification required-you should have a bachelors degree in any discipline from a recognized university. the following age relaxation are available for the exam- 5 years for SC/ST candidates 3 years for OBC candidates 5 years for defence service personals 10 years for physically handicapped candidates The pattern of the preliminary exam is- the pattern of the main exam is- good luck |

Bachelor degree from any of the recognized University is the qualification required for IAS. Age of the applicant must be less than 30 years. OBC candidates can attend the test up to 33 years. SC/ST candidates can attend the test up to 35 years. General category candidates can attend the test at most 4 times.
