What is the IAS entrance exam eligibility criteria?
sir,i hv completed my b.sc pass(math,physics,chemistry)final yr in 2012.bt in 2013 i have given a supply exam of 2nd yr math.now i am 21 yrs old.am i eligible for ias exam?

You can look for IAS, only after clearing all backlog papers. Age limit mentioned here are suitable to apply for the exam. Those between 21 years and 30 years can apply. At the time of interview, you need to submit documents proving educational qualifications and eligibility requirements. More information on eligibility can be collected from UPSC portal.

There is no specific exam as IAS entrance exam.
IAS - Indian Administrative Service and to become an IAS office one has to crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC every year. Eligibility of IAS, Civil Service Exam:- -The eligible candidate must be an Indian National. -Should have either appeared for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University -Should be within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate. The acronym for IAS is Indian Administrative Services. Yes, you are eligible for IAS examination. To join IAS, you will have to appear for the civil services examination. Candidates must satisfy the following conditions to be eligible for the UPSC IAS Exam:
Nationality for IAS exam: Must be a citizen of India, a person of Indian origin or a subject of Nepal, Bhutan or Tibet settled in India before 1st January 1962. Education Qualification for IAS exam: Candidate must hold a Graduate Degree from a recognised University. UPSC Age limit for IAS exam: Candidate must be a minimum of 21 years of age and must not be more than 32 years of age. Category wise UPSC age limit, relaxation and maximum attempts- General Category & EWS: 32 years; 6 attempts. OBC(with certificate): 32 years + 3 years; 9 attempts. SC/ST: 32 years + 5 years; unlimited attempts. Physically Disabled: 32 years + 10 years; Gen/OBC/Person with Benchmark Disability(EWS category)- 9 attempts & SC/ST unlimited attempts. Jammu & Kashmir Domicile: 32 years + 5 years + (3 years, if OBC OR 5 Years, if SC/ST); Number of attempts depends on the reserved category.
