sir,i hv completed my b.sc pass(math,physics,chemistry)final yr in 2012.bt in 2013 i have given a supply exam of 2nd yr math.now i am 21 yrs old.am i eligible for ias exam?

You can look for IAS, only after clearing all backlog papers. Age limit mentioned here are suitable to apply for the exam. Those between 21 years and 30 years can apply. At the time of interview, you need to submit documents proving educational qualifications and eligibility requirements. More information on eligibility can be collected from UPSC portal.

If you have graduation degree from recognized university then you can apply for IAS Exam.IAS exam conducted for UPSC through civil service exams .

So if you have completed your pending backlog then you are applicable for IAS exam exam otherwise not.

The age eligibility criteria is -

Minimum age - 21 years old.
Maximum age - 30 years old.

Your age now 21 years old so you are applicable for IAS exam .

Permissible No of Attempts in IAS exam -

For General Category - 4
For OBC - 7
For SC/ST - No limit

There is no specific exam as IAS entrance exam.

IAS - Indian Administrative Service and to become an IAS office one has to crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC every year.

What is the IAS entrance exam eligibility criteria
