what kind of job do a company secretary get in the banking sector?are there certain entrance examinations conducted by nationalised banks for qualified company secretaries or for students who are pursuing company secretary course?

To become a company secretary one needs to do a professional course under the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
Once you qualify +2 level of examination, you will be eligible to enroll for the course, irrespective of your stream and marks scored in the examination.

The Company Secretary course comprise of :

Foundation Program
Executive Program
Management Training
Professional Program

Since you will be joining the course after +2, you will have to register for the Foundation Program, whereas, a graduate may enroll directly for the Executive Program.

Now, in order to take admission, you will need to contact your nearest ICSI Regional Council or Branches.

There are 2 groups in Executive Programme
Group1 contains 3 subjects, which are:-
1. General & Commercial Laws
2. Financial Accounting
3. Income tax,Vat

Grop2 contains 3 subjects
1. Company law
2. Securities Law
3.Economic and Labour Law

After doing CS you will have nothing i.e no jobs in your hand. Also no vacancy for cs is created.
So i am repenting..please do not do this course
