Re: What is the minimum and maximum age limit for National Eligibility Entrance Test - NEET?
The minimum age criteria required to apply for NEET examination is 17 years and the maximum age is 25 years as on 31st December of the year of examination. Upper age relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ ST category candidates is applicable as per government rules to apply for NEET examination. As per the information you have mentioned in your query, you are 25 years old being a General category candidate, so, you are not eligible to appear in NEET examination.

NEET examination is conducted for admission in MBBS or BDS course. So, you will be not eligible to get admission in BAMS course through NEET.
The entrance examination for admission in BAMS is conducted by the state government. The common eligibility to appear for examination is that candidate must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as main paper. But, you are not eligible to appear for NEET. The upper age limit for NEET is 25 years. |

Re: What is the minimum and maximum age limit for National Eligibility Entrance Test - NEET?
NEET refers to National Eligibility cum Entrance Test and same is a national level entrance examination held for offering admission in undergraduate medical degree course in medical college across India except AIIMS and JIPMER.
As far as you are concerned about the age criteria for appearing in NEET then as per the NEET 2018 notification, for appearing in NEET 2018 the minimum age of candidate must be at least 17 years by the 31st December 2018 where as the maximum age limit for the same is 25 years by the 6th May 2018. Age relaxation of 5 years is allowed for reserved category candidates. So being 26 years old and belonging to general category you are not eligible for appearing in NEET and hence not eligible for pursuing undergraduate medical degree courses like MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, etc. .
